Erebi are said to be the spirits found inside of a volcano, and are extremely elusive and rare. Although they bear a very fiery habitat and can wield flame with precision, they are very solitary and prefer to avoid confrontation with anything. They are one of the rarest dragons in the veil.

Erebi are said to be a breed that was born by ordinary dragons being possessed the spirits of flame. These rare dragons make their homes in the most unusual and otherwise inhospitable places for any dragon, in the hearth of a volcano, and nest and live inside of the lava. As such, their wings are somewhat short and more used for swimming than flying, although they are quite capable of flight. Although they bear a very fiery habitat and can wield flame with precision, they are very solitary and prefer to avoid confrontation with anything besides their own kind, however, though, this does not mean that provoking them is wise decision. The reason nobody knows what a furious Erebus looks like is not exactly that they cannot be made mad, it is more that they are one of the more elusive and rarer dragons in the Veil.

Erebi eggs are almost always found in lava pools in the wild, where these curious dragons make their nests. As such, it is almost impossible for anything to obtain one, and only the most clever of mages can obtain a wild bred egg. As such, most of the eggs that come into the creche are from the current breeding stock, and given by charity so that the population may expand.

This small hatchling seems to lack any legs. It also seems to be able to fly unlike most other hatchlings, and many of your other dragons stay away from it due to the radiant heat it emits. It's grown even hotter now and is a much better flier, but you have to urge it away from you if it approaches or else you get burned.

Your hatchling has grown and it radiates immense heat, unlike any of your other dragons. You have to stay far away from it to prevent being burnt, so often you let it loose to wander. It instinctively avoids contact with the forest and plains, and heads for the volcanoes when you let it out. Your other dragons stay away from it for fear it may even burn through their fire-proof scales.
