The Shell Drake

Shell Drakes are summoned through means of alchemical magic, and are considered to be one of the most creative spells. Summoned by binding a seadrake eggshell with sand and a pearl, these eggs are also considered extremely controversial. Many mages who summon the creature are often scorned and shunned like the seadrakes are.

Your hatchling has grown now and it surprisingly looks much like a seadrake, though its sand complexion and shell ornaments set it apart from them. It seems to fit in well with the drakes and often you can see it hunting alongside them, though you carefully watch to make sure that none of the sand comprising the beast falls off while it is swimming. It generally holds together well, but there has been instances of it falling to pieces while accompanying them, so you keep close watch to make sure that you can find it if it does. The large pearl it now has seems to signify its age.
