Water longs are also known as wish dragons in many areas, said to be able to grant wishes if brought proper offerings of cooked fish. These dragons are said to have two very different variants, one that lives in the mountains, and another that lives on the coastline of most rivers and the ocean. These dragons have not been shown to grant wishes, but they have been shown to be able to move water to form various shapes or trap a fish, which makes these dragons an excellent companion for any mage hoping to have luck fishing.

Your hatchling has grown now and its colors rarely shift, though the odd patch of scales never seems to, making it stand out from the rest of its body. The fluffy mane that the hatchling had has grown much larger, and beautifully complements it when it dives underwater. Although it seems to spend hours preening this mane, it will gladly dive into murky water and ruin it for the chance at catching a fish.
