Yellow dragons are a large, long, flightless breed of dragon native to the eastern mountains that border the veil. They have the ability to make coulds and cause rain, although they rarely use this power to their advantage, instead sometimes watering vegetable dragons or helping upkeep the gardens. Their long ears allow them to hear anything that may be approaching them, and often people trying to get information from others will use them to spy and relay the message. Their fluffy yellow manes make them stand out from other dragons, though, and they are often spotted before their mission is completed.

Hatchling

This newborn hatchling seems to be very thin and somewhat feeble. Sometimes it collapses on its belly and needs your help to get on the feet. It has some shining yellow hair on its head. Sometimes you can behold orbs of fog around it that make you hands slightly wet on impact.

Your hatchling has grown now, and is able to move around without your help. Its mane has grown as well and now it grows not only on its head and tail, but also on its spine. It curiously explores any areas it can get in and seems fond of stalking you plant dragons, albeit they don't seem to mind it. The curiosity it has also drives it to listening to any conversation, no matter how private it is. As a result, you sometimes notice a yellow mane sticking from behind the corner when you talk to your fellow mages.

Your yellow dragon is now an adult and its mane is a lot bigger than it used to. Unlike most of dragons with manes, yours does not spend much time taking care of it, as the hair seems to remain clean and straight by itself. The dragon spends most of its time wandering or watering any dried plants within its reach. You wonder if there is any way to train your dragon to do all the gardening instead of you.
