Your hatchling has finally reached adulthood, and is a formidable beast, although it smells like delicious sweets. Your other creatures prefer to stay away from it from experience, though sometimes an unsuspecting hatchling will attempt to munch your wyrm's scales, and often ends up sick for the rest of the week. Due to this, you often isolate your wyrm from your other creatures to prevent incident.
Honey wyrms are known for the magical and medicinal properties found in the mucus that is produced by their skin. It seems to have multiple purposes, from use as a powerful defensive agent that causes strong hallucinations in the attacker to a healing product that has been found to relieve pain and speed along the healing of minor wounds. They are often found in the lower regions of the desert area, in groups of usually four to five. Their golden color allows them to blend into the sand with relative ease, and their long, sleek bodies, although covered with mucus, allow for them to easily burrow and hide under the sand.
Wyrms are large, serpent like draco who may possess only back legs and have large, useless wings, or may be completely limbless. Their main forms of attack are biting with a poison bite, or with some limbless varieties, stinging with a toxic laced tail. They are usually found in desert or arid regions, hiding in the scrub and waiting for their next prey. They are also characterized by their strict diet of raw meat, and the fact that they refuse to eat any meat that has been cooked or is not fresh. Due to this, the old way to tell a wyrm from a wyvern was to offer it cooked meat and see if it took it.
