Your hatchling has grown now and it is a quite sturdy wyvern. Its large bulk gives it an advantage when hunting prey due to the fact that it simply has to stop flapping to gain enough force to detain nearly any other dragon. It is often at war with your reds due to this, and it has begun to collect large dents in its rock hide from these battles. The stone hide it possesses helps alleviate your worries for the creature becoming injured in one of its battles, thankfully.

Amae wyverns possess a unique and unusual power- the ability to incorporate crystal into their skin. These dragons only eat rocks and gems, and through magic and their biology, are able to harness the minerals they cannot digest and have them instead form crystal clusters about their body. This power makes these dragons nearly impossible to attack with physical attack, and were commonly used in inter-tribal wars as a steed. These dragons, thankfully, lack any sort of flame or magical ability, though their bodies are incredibly muscled and can easily knock over a tower if needed.

Wyverns are large, powerful draco that only have hind legs and a pair of large and strong wings. They are commonly found in the volcanic and arid regions of the veil, and are feared and revered by the local tribes surrounding their domains. They only eat meat, but will gladly feast on carrion and rotting flesh, unlike their closer cousins the wyrms. It used to be thought that wyverns possessed a large, stinging tail that could poison their prey, and some species still retain this power, but it is more thought that this is a sure sign of the close relation of wyverns and wyrms. Wyverns also commonly possess strong, plated scales that protect their underbelly and make them nearly invulnerable to any sort of weapon.
